Er gaan geruchten rond dat de Call of Duty 4 demo release voor de PC op 5 November zal zijn.
Na wat onderzoek zal dit maar al te goed kunnen kloppen..
Op de engelstalige wikipedia word dit ook vermeld bij PC Demo.
Ook op de infinityward.com forums meld fourzerotwo, de Community Relations Mannager, de demo op 5 November

I feel confident saying that the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been fully tailored by the feedback of the PC community. I think that's really going to show come November 5th and before when the demo hits. Everything from plenty of options for the player and server-side admins to turn on / off features, to the inclusion of popular suggestions like Hardcore Mode, slimming down the hud even when not in Hardcore, Half-time mode for objective gametypes, anti-cheat out of box, and even looking into ways to take control back from hackers / cheaters who get through anti-cheat
